
Hope at Home Kit
Hope at Home Kits are simple, heartfelt bundles created by volunteers who want to spread encouragement from anywhere. Each kit includes small comfort items and handwritten notes that remind families in crisis that they are seen, supported, and not alone.
Step 1
1) Choose a small bag or box: Use a sturdy gift bag, shoebox, or even a old lunch box.

2) Add comfort items
small clothing essentials: socks, lightweight gloves, hair ties, headbands
comfort play items: small stuffed toy, stress ball, coloring pages
small care items: lip balm, travel lotion, tissues, hand wipes, socks Include encouragement
NOTE:

Only include new, unopened items

Avoid anything sharp, breakable, or homemade food
3) Write a short, kind note or card with a message like: “You matter.” “You are not alone.” “Thinking of you today.”
​NOTE: You can make this in any way decorate the note or card in a way you would feel appreciated!

4) Add a little joy ​
Add something small but uplifting: a puzzle book, pen, mini notebook, or stress ball.

5) Pack it neatly
Arrange items so they’re easy to see and use. Close the bag/box and, if you’d like, tie it with a ribbon. Remember to decorate it!

6) Drop it off
